Consultation Agreement
I. Scope
This agreement sets forth the terms of the legal representation you have asked the Law Office of D.Ray Mantle, PLLC to provide to you in connection with immigration consulting.
A. Attorney. D.Ray Mantle will be the attorney responsible for advising and consulting with you on immigration-related issues. You are hiring Mr. Mantle for the limited scope of consultation, and the attorney-client relationship will only be extended if a seperate engagement agreement is signed and accepted.
B. Client Responsibility. You agree to be truthful and to comply with reasonable requests for information and documents necessary for the legal consultation. When you provide any information to the attorney, you are affirming the accuracy and completeness of the information, and Mr. Mantle will not be responsible for independently verifying the accuracy of information you provide.
II. Fees
Availability of the requested consultation is subject to your successful payment of the attorney fees. Full payment of the attorney fee for an initial 30-minute telephone consultation or 1-hour office consultation must be paid prior to or at the beginning of the consultation.
III. Professional Responsibility
D.Ray Mantle is licensed as an Attorney and Counselor at Law by the Texas Supreme Court and practices federal immigration law throughout the United States. Any controversy relating to this agreement will be settled by arbitration in accordance with American Arbitration Association rules.
The State Bar of Texas investigates and prosecutes professional misconduct committed by Texas attorneys. Although not every complaint against or dispute with a lawyer involves professional misconduct, the State Bar’s Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel will provide you with information about how to file a complaint.
